3. The Impossible Things - Part 3

Ôåëèêñ Ðåìîâ
There are no lowerable blinds
If you will not hide something obscene.
There are no invaluable finds
If your opinion of all is mean.
There are no inappreciable binds
If you think how dependent you’ve been.
There are no impenetrable minds,
And a cranium is not a trash bin.

There are no uncrashable cars:
To prevent a crash, do carefully drive.
There are no ineffaceable jars
If you keep your cheerfulness alive.
There are no unovercomable bars:
You can get over them if you strive.
There are no unreachable stars,
But there can be, for short are our lives.

There are no suitable pairs
If their future is too vague and dim.
There are no indestructible stairs
If your body’s too fat and not slim.
There are no unbreathable airs,
In not so many places, it’s grim.
There are no innumerable affairs
If you will find the girl of your dreams.

There are no unhearable bells
If they tell you that you have to mourn.
There are no unstrippable fells
If a flayer are you, natural born.
There are no unbreakable spells
If white magic is what you did learn.
There are no inexhaustible wells
When into deserts oases turn.

There are no surmountable steeps
If a legless man tries to climb up.
There are no unfathomable deeps,
The expanse of water being a cup.
There are no unstoppable peeps
If in plugging a hole you are top.
There are no interminable sleeps
Except death, for it’s what you can’t stop.
