В древних свитках открылись страницы,
распахнулись для ищущих Свет
и в истории древнего мира
на вопросы мы ищем ответ:
кто Ты, названная Преславнейшей
и несущая Солнце в Себе?
кто Ты, радость больных и скорбящих,
приносящая милость с Небес?
Год за годом столетья летели -
образ Девы Пречистой не мерк
и сокрыть времена не сумели
Богородицы истинный свет;
жизнь земная Небесной Царицы
будет светочем нам навсегда,

and by heavenly soul renaissance
of the life and revival He brought;
He was born of the Virgin, called Mary,
She accompanied Him in His lot

we’ve been keeping this secret of God:

Ancient scrolls now are opened for those
seeking light and the truth - our Lord,
we are looking for answers to know
in the history of ancient world:
who are You called Most Pure and Glorious
bearing Sun, bearing Almighty Love?
who are You, joy of sicks and in sorrows,
bringing mercy from Heaven to us?
Years passed after years and ages
but the image of Virgin’s not dark,
it has Light it’s an answer to prayers -
holy image of Mother of God;
earthly life of the Queen of the Heaven
will be Daylighter to all of us,
we’ll be able to fight against evil
