Yesterday we were at Zoo
And admired kangaroo.
We thought it's playing with a toy
Then realized it's not a toy
But its young baby little joey.
Then we passed to cage with monkey,
Have to say it's very cranky,
I laughed a lot then used a hankie.
Soon we moved and watched a donkey.
In my opinion it was swanky.
After that we've peered a parrot
Tried to eat a big crisp carrot.
To see a big green crocodile
We had to go one more mile.
So we sat to rest a while.

And saw two hippos in the pit.
They were laying in a row
Wanted to perform a show.
Then started to destroy and stow.
On the way we met the night
So were forced to turn on headlights.
Soon the beams of headlights failed
