Misery

Мари Вальтер
You've got the face of tomorrow that would never come
Rivers between us bring no good but drain and harm
And I'm sure you won't but, please, dress in my skin
For the sake of living. It's still hidden therein
Dress in my skin, shapeshifter, use my voice the way you need
I'll promise to be still even if my heart would refuse to beat
In the desert of shame or in valleys of desperation
Protection is a reflection of longings of no use and sense
All we face every day is the ignorance

No one would give you guarantees to go through your life
Swallow all this ignorance for the sake of mankind
No matter how, you’ll accidently get used to it
While breathing in chemicals of fallacies like someone in need

Look through my eyes even if you see no way
For there's no way for the wanderer who sees absolution in a grain
Whose purpose is equilibrium. In vain or not, I won't judge
Because it's art of living in charge of knowledge

Dress in my skin, be the flow of poison like prevailed purity
Perhaps one day we’ll meet, veiled in a dim of obscurity
My dear sister, brother, beloved child of mourn
Won’t you help me to find out for what I was born for?

Use my arms, hands, palms in irritating exposure
Catcher of the moment in the heart of the plague
As black as tattoos on my body which remind of mistakes
Certainly together we would finally set our spirits free
Trying to go out of vicious circles of misery
But we couldn’t become anything: neither oblivion, nor quietude
So forever would last our lament of solitude
For in solitude we come here, go and stop
Trying to fix to someone, something around
But remember the ignorance... It's still paramount

And all I could is a strange attempt to feel
Every turn and move of the air
while you're dressing in_my_skin.
