Morpheus s Water Dust

Анна Грудинина Ли
I come back to the water, though it frightens me to see
The portraits of my ancestors, souls long gone in the sea.

The water’s cold, though I can swim the depths are swallowing
Me drowning, falling, mute, asleep. The shadow’s following.

My consciousness deep in my heart has way back gone insane.
I hear his voice, I fall apart, the vision in my brain

Keeps showing me, while bubbles flow, two enigmatic eyes
I’m from somewhere used to know in alien disguise.
