The beautiful city Paris

Антониа Ирина Голь
City of light and love Paris
Glows above Earth as a bright Polaris,
Attracts me with its beauty and chime,
Soars from the Eiffel Tower over time.

Refrain:  The Champs Elysees are running far away,
And a blue veil hides the gentle look today.
There under the sky of Paris I will see violets,
I will drink Chardonnay, admire Monet.

Invite me to itself Paris with first glance
And whirl in the vortex of graceful blue dance,
Hear how my heart beats as storms
And bewitch me with your warmth.

Refrain:  The Champs Elysees are running far away,
And a blue veil hides the gentle look today.
There under the sky of Paris I will see violets,
And the water lilies of Monet - inspiration's islets.

The first World Poetry Day took place in Paris.
The oldest literary award in the world was in the form of gold violet (France, XIV century).
