Fanny Brice – a gifted actress & singer in film, on radio, stage.
She rapidly, successfully moved though her each career page.
Fanny seemed funny as a comedian, making fans smile & laugh.
Having progressed at work, some other parts of life were rough.
Her temper, attitude, willpower, courage and determination
Made Brice an international celebrity, star, icon or sensation.
Burlesque, satire, parody were Fanny’s gift, dream & ambition.
She’s an expressive entertainer, who had fulfilled her mission.
As clown, she had come up with plots filled with humor & wit.
As person, she was optimistic, enthusiastic, warm and sweet.
Brice had succeeded in developing rapport with her own fans.
She dared to do her best, took offered opportunity or chance.
October 29th – birthday of Fanny Brice, our tribute goes to her.
She is remembered as a performer who could enlighten, glow.
Brice’s life story was portrayed by Streisand on the big screen,
For which an Oscar or Academy Award, Barbra was able to win.
