The Birds Of Love

Денис Владимирович Демин
You left and now I have lain,
In front of memories of pain,
For so much time I’ve been through grief,
So many tested my belief.

The Reaper’s coming like a thief,
He takes the life, grants a relief.
And now we are both slain,
All that we did was not in vain,

I’m flying high above the ground,
But I still hear that steering sound,
What it reminds me of is gone.
All that I see now is a swan.

Your sunshine touched me like a ray,
And after that I couldn’t stay
So from a monastery of love,
I’m taking off as a white dove.

I’m flying high above the ground,
But I still hear that distant sound,
What it reminds me of is gone.
You are my guiding star, my swan.

You’ve taught me how to fly away,
And you have shown me the way,
To save myself from what I was,
To see exactly the right cause.

We’re flying high above the ground,
But we still hear that godly sound,
What it reminds us of is gone.
I am your dove, you are my swan.
