A Mississipi Waltz

Маленький Принц
She waltzed in the snow, the winter, the forest –
The bears awoke and danced:
Though starving and grizzly, they turned from an ornery
Beast to a knight of romance.

The Viennese waltz, with her spark and the music,
An elegant flourish of hand,
And people of Vienna – amused an amusing
For once looked above and ahead…

She tangoed with hurricanes, danced with tornadoes -
On Earth,  in the stars and beyond…
Astronauts thought: “What the world and the radar? –
A shape so mystical yonder…”

She circled the planet, the oceans, sierras,
She conquered before she saw…
Uplifting, inspiring – her eyes were the serum,
The potion – her grace and her song.

She waltzed in the snow, the frost and the winter:
And spring awoke and sighed.
Believe me or not, but just look in the window –
She’s dancing, so magic, inside…

Elegant, graceful, smiles to faces
She brought to the...one, two, three beat…
A frozen river, your heart and its quiver,
A city at night in a waltz of a fever,
Her palm on your palm  - and the Universe shivers…
Just music, her eyes and her feet…
