The Beast Inside

Дмитрий Сирмаиди
I'd got a savage beast in me,
Endeavoring not to let it free,
I tried to cure with self-restraint
But suffered more day after day...

Each full moon time I left my place
For back beyond to hide it's face.
A fever changed with strokes of cold,
For miles away spread out my howl...

I kept my struggle with that beast,
I held my rage tight in my fists.
In my attempts to cast it out
Sometimes I won, sometimes went down...

But once I'd got it on my mind -
I need to stop that brutal fight
And try to find a place inside,
Just kind a place of peace and quiet,

Of clear mind and good triumf
That'll make this rage and fury slump.
Then rampage fog shall I demist
And set on sturdy leash that beast...
