Leave taking

Александрова Виктория
Again, again I have to leave
My quiet home for alien lands,
Away, away from well-known life
From moon-white sea-shore sands.
I don’t know whether I’m back
Or whether I’m through,
I wonder what the lands are like
Where I’m sailing to.
My native town is sleeping quiet
While I leave seashore sands,
Above there’s lonely pale moonlight
Keeps reaching down its hands.
Again, again I’ve got to leave
For unknown alien lands,
Away, away from my sweet home,
From sea-shore golden sands.
