Ms. Mildred Rinker Bailey – great jazz singer, called “The Queen of Swing.”
She sang and played piano in the clubs, as well as on the stage or on rink.
Jazz, vaudeville, pop, blues and swing had constituted her integrative style. 
Mildred possessed a sweet voice, innovative spirit and exuded pretty smile.

Bailey was distinct in vocal delivery, diction, phrasing, lyrics’ internalization.
Her singing manifested flavor, vocal delicacy, depth, unique interpretation.
Mildred’s gossamer soprano, fast vibrato, elegant timing, pitch, intonation
Impressed the audience in the entire world as well as an American nation.

She had good sense of humor, was generous, kind, confident, humble, fond.
Mildred had worked with fellow professionals establishing rapport and bond.
Bailey’s professionalism, talent, devotion were well respected and admired.
Her flawless, effortless vocal performances to wide audience had been a riot.

February 27th - birthday of Mildred Bailey, “The Rockin’ Chair Lady,” real star,
Who had been a gifted, passionate performer of blues, jazz, swing repertoire.
“Jazz stylist” Bailey gained popularity, leaving behind her legacy up to this day.
