James Brown - a genus performer: singer, dancer, actor, songwriter, “Godfather of Soul,”
Musician, bandleader, choreographer and record producer who had his mission or goal.
He self established as a pioneer integrating soul, funk, R&B, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, doo-wop.
James was determined, persevere, evolving, moving forward, whom nobody could stop.
Brown - a multi-instumentalist able to play piano, keyboards, drums, organ, percussion.
Through songs he had communicated profound messages to audience with interaction.
Vocal performances of high registers and vibrant dance routines – unpredictable, vivid.
James was intense on stage, aggressive, forceful, spectacular and never shy, coy, timid.
Brown developed his musical genres with technical complexity of rhythm - new trend.
A father, an originator of metamorphosis delivered flawless performances with band.
A well-fit athlete and musician James influenced people not only of his own generation,
Evoking and contributing his talents, novelty, devotion, passion, drive and innovation.
James' costumes had been extravagant, shoes - sparkling shining, hair – flamboyant.
He had conveyed himself as strong, perfectionistic, disciplined, courageous, buoyant.
Brown’s dramatic movements called attention - slides, leaps, hips pumping and splits.
His numerous video and audio recordings had proven to be timeless and priceless hits.
Progressive artist, leader, icon, model, he promoted genres’ blend and transformation.
Brown was a phenomenon exuding stamina, resilience, strong will, extreme exuberation.
James – charismatic, sharp, magnetic, influential, inspiring, goal oriented, daring, loud.
Of his accompishments, hard work, determination, effort and invention he was proud.
Brown invested his time and effort in social activism incuding education for the youth.
He had been passionate to advocate for racial justice, civil rights, communicating truth.
For black community he served as role model, source of self-sufficiency and inspiration.
James stood for his beliefs and people acting as representative without fear, limitation.
May 3rd – birthday of James Brown, who had achieved artistic freedom and evolution,
Along with fame, popularity, commercial success, critical acclaim for his contribution.
We think of James as extraordinary persona successfully implementing vision or dream.
He was a man of purpose, determination, carrying through life responsibility, esteem.
