Когда любви закончится кредит,
И ты мои грехи сведёшь в отчёт,
И проведёшь изъянам аудит;
На время то, когда ты как чужой
Пройдёшь, светила глаз едва подняв,

И вежливо-прохладным станет нрав;
На время то заранее креплюсь,
И цену сам себе осознаю.
Сам за себя в суде не поручусь,
Приняв покорно правоту твою.

Любить заставить – нет на то устава.
