I slowly learned to live my life
The learning wasn’t easy, no.
Besides, quite often I postponed
The lesson for tomorrow night
Half ‘ life I learned to live my life,
They scolded me for endless loaf -
But there was still half ‘ life to go,
I didn’t hurry,
Why should I?
And I was inattentive yet -
I would forget that safe is better,
I would forget that tears don’t matter,
The lesson, too, I would forget.
But still I learned to live my life.
A-grader – no, nothing close.
But I did learn to be composed,
To live my life and even thrive.
Too late I’ve learned to live my life.
I’ve given up my long-time sloth.
Looks like I have,
I wonder, though
If I have learned to live it right?
You too, will shrug and nothing more
When you forget again next morning:
There are some points of no returning
And you shall reap just what you saw
Again, again to ABC,
Return to books you have forgotten
- Oh, Sesame, - I say, - do open! -
But Sesame is locked for me.
