* Impfondo is a town in the north eastern Republic of the Congo, it is the administrative centre of the Likouala Region. It has a population of around 20,000, and is situated on the Oubangui River (also spelled as Ubangi), a major tributary of the Congo River. The town has an airport, and is linked by river barge to Brazzaville and Bangui.
