Слышал эхо я в кромешной мгле –
Дальний голос из прошедших лет.
Я глядел в бездонность тех ночей,
Жизнь влача, не зажигал свечей.
Далеко, за спеленутым часом рассвета,
Я рожден был за туманами где-то.
Но день омрачился безмолвием в ночи,
Оставив меня на земле без единой свечи.
Так хотел, чтоб все
Мне говорили – «Здравствуй!»
Пождать и ты бы мог, говоря:
«Прощай!»
Все должно кончаться, как и начинаться,
Для того, чтобы заново начать.
Черный день приходит к нам всем как-то вдруг,
Не тяни к нему для рукопожатья своих рук.
Не дано тебе знать, чем замкнется испытательный круг,
Но тайну познаешь, если рядом друг…
