The Demon

Мария-Элоиза
It is the one-two-three-four thing.
I know the fun to which I cling.
I know how much of pain I bring:
The birds I touch can no more sing.

I am the Demon of the night.
The kids are dreaming of my bite.
I am the godlike but not God –
Too many bloodlines in my blood.

For now I’m poor, naked, strange –
But, please, be sure, this will change.
My Darkest Majesty will hold
The greatest treasures of the world.

And then, you all – you hear me?! – all
Will either fall or always crawl.
The world beneath will know no ruth.
I was a myth – I will be truth.
