San Diego Ballet stages Shakespeare's iconic tale of star-crossed lovers from Oct. 16 to 18, 2015.
The lush and romantic ballet, directed by Robin Morgan and Javier Velasco, features a cast of professional dancers retelling the story of "Romeo and Juliet," teens from warring families who nonetheless fall in love.
The tragic tale, featuring a cast of local professional dancers, captures feelings of love, betrayal, revenge and despair through movement and music.
The show will also be performed on Oct. 25 at the Old Town Temecula Theatre. Find tickets here.

The Juliette-class sub used for the filming had to be restored back to "sea-worthy" condition and then modified to make it resemble the original K-19, which was a Hotel-class sub. The modifications included a longer sail and lengthening of the sub by more than 100 feet.
